Our heartiest congratulations to Edmonton50 company company Hi Finance on closing a $500,000 CAD pre-seed funding round, led by UCeed, University of Calgary's social impact fund, and with support from at University of Alberta’s eHub and others.

Hi Finance empowers students to take control of their finances by managing their savings, loans, and grant applications through their app. Hi Finance has helped over 2,000 students earn $4 million dollars in grant funding with partnerships established at post-secondaries across Alberta. Through a combination of AI-powered fintech tools and campus-based partnerships, Hi Finance is changing the way the next generation manages their money with a model focused on transparency and accessibility. The company plans to use the proceeds to develop an end-to-end automated grant platform and expand deployment to campuses across Canada.
